October 19-22, 2023 at Oakridge Church Camp in Anadarko, OK.

We arrive and sign in on Thursday afternoon, have some get to know each other activities and worship the Lord. We will have our first session and lay a foundation for our weekend study. Friday and Saturday each will have three sessions with fun and fellowship, before, between, and after, Sunday we will wrap everything up and leave the camp by 1:00 in the afternoon.

Kimberly and the Bible Study Group Girls have been having an annual retreat now for five years, the number of participants has grown each year. We go into a deep dive into the Word of God, getting to know Him on very personal levels with each individual. Our goal is spiritual growth for ourselves and everyone who chooses to attend. In our Sunday evening Bible studies for 2023 we have been doing “Healing University” by Andrew Wommack and the teachers at Charis Bible College. We will start back up from summer break after Labor Day, Sunday Evenings from 6-8 pm at my home.

At this point in time there are 39 spots still available for retreat. We have to have a firm head count by September 19th. Spots are filling up fast! Tickets are 125.00, t-shirts are 20.00.

ABC’s of Salvation

A – ADMIT (Acknowledge) Admit honestly to God that you have sinned and disobeyed Him. Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Isaiah 53:6 – “All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.” James 2:10 – “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.” Romans 3:10 – “as it is written, ‘There is none righteous, not even one’” John 16:8 and II Corinthians 7:10 – “And He (the Spirit), when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment” (John 16:8) “For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.” (II Corinthians 7:10)

B – BELIEVE (Trust) Believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again. His blood was shed to pay for your sins. I Corinthians 15:3-4 – “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” Romans 5:8 – “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

C – CHOOSE (CONFESS) Choose to trust Jesus alone for the forgiveness of your sins. Romans 10:13 – “for ‘Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” John 3:18 – “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God”. Acts 3:19 and Romans 10:9 – “Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (Romans 10:9) “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Acts 3:19)

Conclusion: We can count on Him to keep His promises. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (I John 1:9)

Prayer of Salvation:

Dear Lord Jesus, I understand that I am a sinner and I ask You for forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins so that I could receive Your forgiveness and have eternal life. I ask You to come into my life right now and become my personal Savior. From this day forward, Lord, I give you control of my life. Make me a new person and help me to live for you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
