By the time that Kyle was 10 1/2 years old, he had become very medically fragile, lots of breathing issues. A lot more spasticity, a lot more discomfort. He was unable to go and do things anymore with the family, even from a wheelchair. We made the hard decision to put him in The Children's Center in Bethany, Oklahoma. Kyle blossomed, and so did the family. What a wonderful place! I now serve on the foundation board for the hospital, where they are able to serve hundreds more families today than what they could when Kyle was there.
