Who I Am
The Word is God speaking to you. “Thus saith Jehovah” is repeated over two thousand times from Exodus to Deuteronomy. God and His Word are one. The Word is always now. Jesus is the Word. Jesus is the Living Word. The Logos.
Hebrews 4:12 (AMP) 12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
And then we find in the next verse:
Hebrews 4:13 (AMP) 13 And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do. The NLT says “with Whom we are accountable.”
The Moffat translation uses the Greek word “Logos” for the “Word” that God speaks. The Word is called the Logos. Jesus is the Logos, and the Logos is a living thing—not in the book, or on the page, but in the lips of the believer. There is no creature hidden from Him, the living Word. The Logos searches us out, the Logos finds us.
John 16:7-10 (NLT2) 7 But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. 8 And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. 9 The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me. 10 Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more.
The Logos, the Word, convicts the world, unbelievers, of three things: of their sin, of God’s righteousness, and of judgment.
Ephesians 6:17 (MOFF) 17 put on salvation as your helmet, and take the Spirit as your sword (that is, the word of God),
Luke 24:46-49 (MOFF) 46 "Thus," he said, "it is written that the Christ has to suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and that repentance and the remission of sins must be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 To this you must bear testimony. 49 And I will send down on you what my Father has promised; wait in the city till you are endued with power from on high."
So we must be endued with power from on high, we must be baptized in the Holy Spirit.
James 1:18 (MOFF) 18 It was his own will that we should be born by the Word of the truth, to be a kind of firstfruits among his creatures.
Colossians 3:10 (KJV) 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him:
We put on the “new man” as we grow in the knowledge of The Word. The battle is always words, man’s words, the world’s words, Satan’s words, against The Word, the Logos. We act upon the word that we believe at that moment. That is why we have to “build ourselves up in God’s Word” by both studying to show thyself approved and by praying in the Spirit in order to receive wisdom and knowledge from God, The Logos.
Matthew 28:18-20 (MOFF) 18 Then Jesus came forward to them and said, "Full authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth; 19 go and make disciples of all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the holy Spirit, 20 and teach them to obey all the commands I have laid on you. And I will be with you all the time, to the very end of the world."
Mark 16:15-20 (KJV) 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Acts 6:7 (KJV) 7 And the Word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
As we submit to God, as we let His Word be the Word on our lips, God is magnified, and His kingdom grows. We sit in our prayer closets and “pray” for God to save John Doe, because our eyes have been darkened to the fact that we are the ones who were, who are commissioned to carry God’s Word out to the non-believers. We are to come together to worship the Lord with praise, to give praise for what He has done as we have gone out to do what He commissioned us to do, bringing back testimonies and building each other up in faith in The Living Word that lives inside of each and every one of us.
John 12:49-50 (NLT2) 49 I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. 50 And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say.”
When we read and study the four gospels, we can see Jesus’ fearlessness in the presence of disease and demons. He was using the Father’s Words and He knew that they could not fail.
2 Timothy 4:2 (MOFF) 2 I adjure you to preach the word; keep at it in season and out of season, refuting, checking, and exhorting men; never lose patience with them, and never give up your teaching,
Jesus preached the Word and it healed the sick; it broke the power of demons over men. The Apostles preached the Word, and the sick were healed, the dead were raised, and the multitudes were recreated. To preach the Word means to preach Christ, because Christ is the Word. To preach the Gospel means to preach the Word, the good news.
When the Word prevails in your life, you have plenty for yourself and for others.
When the Word prevails in our life, “we are blessed to be a blessing.” When the Word prevails in our life, we love, and love begets love.
John 13:34-35 (NLT2) 34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
Philippians 4:6-8 (NLT2) 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. 8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
In verse 6 “Tell God what you need” the need is the solution to the problem, NOT THE PROBLEM itself.
Keep your thoughts on God, not on the world.
And so, If I (the reader) believe in Christ Jesus as my savior, have confessed that I am a sinner, and confessed that Jesus is Lord, then all of these truths from the Bible are true about me . . .
Galatians 3:13 (KJV) 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree:
After Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law of Moses, He told us that this is the New Covenant commandment: Matthew 22:37-40 (AMP) “And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). 38 This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. 40 These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
John 10:10 (AMP) 10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). Have life and have life more abundantly. (KJV)
In order for us to realize “Life more abundantly” we have to get passed our unbelief and fully believe the promises that He has for us. Amos 3:3 (KJV) “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” 2 Corinthians 1:20 (KJV) “For all the promises of God in Him (Jesus) are yes, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” Agree with God and verbally declare these promises and truths over your own life.
1 Peter 1:8 (NLT2) 8 You love Him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see Him now, you trust Him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy.

1 John 2:20 (AMP) 20 But you have been anointed by [you hold a sacred appointment from, you have been given an unction from] the Holy One, and you all know [the Truth] or you know all things.

And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].
I was predestined by God for success.
(God predestined ALL of His children for success, but not all people choose to believe and receive what He has for them.)
1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) 9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light:

And, NOTHING can separate me from the Love of God – not angels or demons, not principalities or powers, nothing in this world or out of it.
Ephesians 6:13 (AMP) 13 Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

Romans 8:11 (MOFF) 11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells within you, then He who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies live by His indwelling Spirit in your lives.
